Biography
Dr Harvey is a board certified consultant radiologist and clinical academic, trained in the NHS and Europe’s leading cancer research institute, the ICR. He completed his post-graduate MD thesis in segmentation and volumetry of prostate MR, and was twice awarded Science Writer of the Year.
He has practiced in the NHS as a consultant radiologist at Guy's & St Thomas' in London, and is currently Clinical Lead at Kheiron Medical, a London-based start-up focussed on early breast cancer detection. He has also worked at Babylon Health, the UK's leading digital health company, where he lead the regulatory affairs team, gaining world-first CE marking for an AI-supported triage service.
He currently sits on the Royal College of Radiologists informatics committee as well as the Artificial Intelligence working group, and is a board advisor to AI start-up companies in the radiology space, including Algomedica and Smart Reporting GMBH.
